I finished!

It's Torandier and Rhaeda Dal'Anu, Death Knights from World of Warcraft. Long story short - he pursued her out of ...I guess, principle (because trying to hook up with the woman that wishes you'd fall into a volcano totally makes sense...), she kicked him in the proverbial nads (...and also in the literal nads). Eventually, they got around to realizing that they both actually -loved- each other. One thing led to another, they declared their undying devotion (lol, pun...), became lovers, and espoused.

So! Here they are, cuddling up in bed (with the finest bedsheets money can buy, of course), obviously very happy and content with each other.

Oh, and the scars (before anyone asks). Torandier got the long one from (if I remember correctly) being an idiot and poking at a dragon. (The dragon won, looks like.) He got the mild facial scars thanks to Rhaeda having really crappy judgment (which resulted in him getting a faceful of Holy magic - which is -not- a Death Knight's friend). Rhaeda had her eye gouged out.
